The unusal group of explorers were walking through town hualing their gold on a makeshift cart.

     "So what are we going to do with this", Chris asked.

     "Well, we could set up an HQ" Shina said.

     "Good Idea" Jason said, "That way we can have a central base"

     "Well I guess we should see the local lord to buy a building", Chris said.




     "So let me get this right, your group is made of a human, two fairies, a wolfgirl, and a vampire", the local lord said.

     "Yeah, that's about right", Jason said.

     "And why would I give you guys a building"

     "Because of these", Jason said as Shina brought in a chest of gold.

     "Well now I see why I should give ou one, here's the deed and don't worry about the taxes this should cover it"




     The group arrived at a two story building with a basement. The worked for three days on it and were finally finished. The first floor had a living room, a kitchen, a dinning room, and a bathroom. The second floor had bedrooms for each of them, two extra rooms, and two bathrooms. In the basement they had a training room, a strategy room, and a locked vault for storing their gold and other valuables.

     That night they had a big party untill the about 2 in the morning.

     Jason heard a knock on his door, he opened it to see Shina standing there.

     "Shina what is it?"

     "I need to talk"

     "Ok, come in and have a seat"

     "I feel like I belong with you", this supprised Jason because he felt the same, "I....um...I  love", sh leaned over and kissed him.

     She went to leave and Jason said, "Don't go, not now not ever", he embrassed her and said, " I love you too"

     That night they both lost something and gained something even more important.





     Later that night Chris was awake till not use to being awake in the day and asleep at night. She heard a sound from the basement.

     "I wonder how much gold the guys have", a young elf asked himself. At that moment he was knocked out by a blow to the head.

     He came to to see a vampire standing over him.

     "Well, well, a theif" Chris said.

     "You aren't going to drink my blood are you"

     "Depends on what boss says" she opened the door and let in the others.

     "Ok mister theif, here are your choices: 1. You can go to jail, 2. You can resist and we let Chris drink your blood, 3. You can join us and get paid well"

     "How well?"

     Jason open's a bag near him and says, "This enough"

     "That's enough to buy my loyalty, I'm Alphonse, call me Al"

     "Chris, since he seems to be afraid of you, keep an eye on him"

     "And if he gets out of line"

     "You can kill him"

     That made her smile deviously.




     "Ok that conludes our meeting, oh and Chris"

     "I talked to the local butcher and he agreed to deliver the blood from the animals to here"

     "Thanks Jason"

     "So just as a summary of everyone's positions: I will act as leader, Shina will act a second in command, Chris and Al will be our stealth and recon team, Diana will act as communication due to the fact the enemy probably won't notice her, and Nyx will take care of the base while were gone"

     "Well that should be it" Shina said.

     "Dissmissed"

     Al looked back to see Chris behind him, "Are you going to follow me all the time"

     "If I have to"

     "Ok to br honest you scare me"

     She pressed herself up against him and said, "Well I think your just nervious around me because you like me"

     "W...well.....I...that...um..", he fell down to the ground.

    "I'll take that as a yes" she said as she walked off leaving a blushing elf on the ground.




     One week later they gathered again.

     "Ok, my sources tell me about 40 miles to the south there is a fort where there is suppose to be mithril armor"

     "Are you serious, that could set us up for awhile"

     "Yeah, so I'm sending Chris, Al, and Diana to scout one day ahead, after scouting for a bit Diana I want you to report back to me and Shina"

     Diana noded.

     "Then well meet up at the entrance and tackle the dungeon as a group."

     "Alright I guess we'll go ahead and go going"

     "Good luck and take care"

     The group of three left for the ruins.

     "Lets prepair for the journey Shina", Jason said walking out to go gather supplies.




     The next morning Shina and Jason gathered the supplies and headed out.

     "Take care of things while were gone ok Nyx", Shina shouted.

     "OK!", she yelled back, "Good thing I know that telekinesis spell or I wouldn't be able to move anything here", she said with a smile.
