A man with black hooded coat, a gray shirt, black pants, holding what appeared to be a staff with a weird headpiece, black boots, and short silver hair was walking down a wooded road when he heard a small cry for help.

     "No please stop, someone help us" screamed the voice.

     He he got to the place the yell came from he found several slattered fairies. He looked over to see an anthropomorphic frog. He had an bloody axe in his hand and blood around his mouth, he also saw two scared fairies.

     "I think you should leave without finishing your meal froggy", the man said.

     The frogman leaped at him only to land on the other side cut down the middle.
  
     The cloaked man's staff was actually a device that allowed him to channel energy into blade that extended from the headpiece giving the weapon the appearance of a scythe. The energy subsided and he went to see if th fairies were ok.

     "Are you two ok", one fairy noded yes the other was still in shock, "We need to get her some help or she could die"

     "Right there's a town with a doctor alittle ways up the road".

     He picked up the now unconsious fairy and the other one flew behind him.




     He arrived at the doctor and burst in the door, "I need a doctor"

     "You look ok", a nurse said.

     "Not for me, it for her", he said holding up the fairy.

     "A Fairy?", see looked at him and said, "Sir this place is for people not their kind"

     He held his scythe to he neck and glared, "Either she get treated or you die"

     "Right....Right this way", she lead him to the doctor and then ran away in fear.

     "What's all this about?" he asked

     "These fairies were attacked and this one is in shock"

     "Oh my, this is serious, I'm glad you brought them here"

     After the doctor treated them the man said, "I'm sorry I did that to the nurse"

     "Don't worry, she knows I'll treat anyone, and I'll make sure she'll be fired"

     "How much do I own you"

     "No charge, just actually getting to see a fairy is enough for me"





     "Do you think she'll be okay"

     "I'm sure she will", The man said, "Oh yes, I'm Jason by the way"

     "I'm Diana and my sister is Nyx", Diana was a redhead with fair skin and had on an orange dress, Nyx had blue hair with tan skin and had on a black dress.

     "You two don't really look alike"

     "We have differnt father's, her father had an affair with my mother" she said with a sad look on her face.

     "I hope i didn't say something I should have"

     "It's just that affair is what caused my father to leave us and the village"

     He picked her up and she let out a small squeak.

     "So since you two have nowhere to go why don't you travel with me"

     "I've always wanted to travel!"

     "Good then welcome aboard"




     The next morning they went to check on Nyx. when they got there the nurse that was fired was there and about to stab nyx. Jason raced over easily broke the women's arm.

     "What's going on", The doctor said running in the room.

     "She was trying to kill my sister"

     "That's it I'm going to have you locked away for this" he yelled at the nurse.

     After the local guard left, Nyx woke up.

     "Where am I"

     "It's ok Nyx", Diana said, then explained what happened.

     "So your leaving with him"

     "My offer goes for you too"

     "It would mean alot if you came with me"

     Nyx tought for a moment then said, "Alright I'll do it"

     "Alright well let get going", turn to the doctor and threw him a bag saying, "I know you said you didn't want to be paid but I feel you should have that", and with that Jason and his fairy friends left.

     The doctor was stunned whe opened the bag, held within one of the largest rubies he had ever seen. "Who is that man and how did he get this" he said looking at the Jason in the distance.
